Ever since I can remember, creativity has been the major inspiration in my life. I was the kid who was drawing cartoons in class instead of memorizing Lincoln's Gettysburg Address. So today, I only know, "Four score and seven years ago" but I can draw Abe Lincoln in about four seconds.

 

So I've excelled in the visual arts including drawing, coloring, painting, sculpting and designing. I'm blessed to see things three dimensionally. And I'm proud to say that I'm not only "a wrist," someone who can draw without a computer, but I also have the fine computer skills to make my clients look inviting and engaging in all media.

 

After graduating from Kendall College of
Art and Design in Grand Rapids, MI, I started working for Stafford Communications Group. There, I designed newspaper section covers, ads, outdoor boards and other promotional materials.

In three years, I was able to expand my repertoire to include photography, illustration, videography and website modification when I accepted a position with BrassCraft Manufacturing, a MASCO company. At BrassCraft, I was also able to hone my communication and public relations skills which have enhanced my career tremendously.

 

Today, my expert skills set include fresh and captivating executions in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign and QuarkXPress. I am also growing my knowledge base and skills in Dreamweaver, Adobe Flash, Final Cut Pro, Motion and Compressor. I thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented business setting and enjoy collaborating with different departments within organizations.
